Your hormones are influenced by many things including the health of your microbiome. Your microbiome is the 3-4 kg of bacteria, fungi, viruses that live in your gut (intestines).
One of the things that affects the health of our microbiome is the food we eat. So if we have Food Intolerances then we are likely to have an unhealthy gut that is inflamed and we probably also will have dysbiosis which is where there are too many of the bad microbes and possibly not enough of the good ones.
